"we're gonna lie to a lot of people…"

Why lying?

We decided on the "we're going to lie to a lot of people" line from Daisey's monologue because it captures the challenges of fact and narrative in a world full of media spin and PR thinking. Is it ok to lie if the higher goal is important? Who decides?
